I thought it was odd that Demogorgon was the main antagonist of Out of the Abyss when he was basically just 'big demon' and didn't really have anything to do with the plot. Now I think I have to homebrew the plot to put him at the center of the module. He belongs there.

Despite being stronger then his brother Orcus I have seen him often get overshadowed by Orcus in terms of popularity as such it is good to see him get some shine first.

Imagine your an ordinary villager that lives near the ocean, everything is relatively calm and peaceful until one day a huge two headed demon emerges from the ocean and starts destroying everything around you and fusing the animals together creating chimera-like monsters in it's wake, and that's just one of many things that can happen to a poor unsuspecting village in D&D.
