Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun is a real-time strategy video game developed by Westwood Studios and released in 1999. The main storyline follows the second major war between the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) of the United Nations, and the global terrorist organization known as the Brotherhood of Nod. The story takes place 30 years after the GDI had won the First Tiberium War in Command & Conquer.

It really is no wonder that I grew up to love industrial music.

I remember wandering the streets with a lone trooper, scouting out ahead and keeping an eye on my harvester. I wondered why the driver of it would want to essentially mine/farm in a warzone. I was only 9 the first time I played. This music brings that all back.

2:30 is sublime. To me, this part represents the Tiberium universe best, perfectly conveying the desolate post-apocalyptic atmosphere, yet with a certain beauty in all the loneliness and hopelessness.

man...20 years ago, unbelievable. I used to play a lot C&C Red Alert and then came this in 1999, with super-futuristic concepts and unforgettable atmosphere and soundtrack. The memories!

This really sets the tone for a dystopian futuristic setting.

Tiberian Sun has some of the best lore, world-building and music of the whole franchise. The gameplay needs some fixing, but aside of this the game is incredible!

Ya this track encapsulates something about tib sun that only cnc fans know, and that it is the only rts with a sense and dark atmosphere

You cling up against a ruined old wall, observe the ammo indicator on your last magazine, your're down to 13 rounds, the Tiberium Fiend that has been stalking you lurks around in the Tiberium outside, snarling and growling, his mouth still fresh with blood from that of your squadmate, hunting his next kill.

To me this always felt like a standoff with a Tiberium Fiend.

this OST is definitely the reason why I grew up to love deep dubstep and halftime DnB and stuff.

I love to play this soundtrack over me doing my maths homework. Maths can be alien like sometimes.

My favourite as well.

Btw: Didn't realise the GDI logo in Tiberian Sun is the Steel Talons logo in Tiberium Wars.

i can't pick a favorite. they are all excellent. Usually i listen to red sky or rain in the night pt 2, but i can't say they are the best.

"Yes sir?" "Infantry reporting..." "Move, move, move!" "(Engineer's voice) Yes sir?" "Over and out!" "Yes sir. (Vehicle voice)" "Sup?" "Hot ride!" "Four on the floor!" "Hit it!" Umagon: "What?" "Ok" "Right between the eyes!"

One of the best, and we barely have the OST this great in the modern post-apocalyptic games!

A bunch of Nod troops ambushed me at dusk once. Then I figured out that I needed glasses. Turns out they were a bunch of G.D.I. forces dispatched to quell our drunken riot right outside of Yee's Discount Liquor. Then I figured out that it was actually the mutant HQ that we were outside of, and that's when my tiberian fiend, "Cuddles", went on a rampage. A few days later, I discovered that it was a bunch of Nod guys who took over the local G.D.I. base in an attempt to get us to work for them.

I like:
1. Approach
2. Lone Trooper
3. Ion Storm
4. What Lurks
5. Infrared
6. Mad Rap

This one sounds cool also.

This is pure despair, and even with a tinge of anger. Everything is in ruins, with tiberium slowly corroding the world

I like Killing Machine, I tried playing skirmish as NOD Cabal style, training groups of 3 maybe larger Cyborgs all split up to attack different parts of the computers base I was up against, for example 1group attacked his defenses while the others walked right past them and started attacking his Power Plants and his soldiers and his construction yard and everything all at once, I guess the computer had no idea what group to attack since there were so many of them and they were all split up attacking more than 1thing at a time

Is there anyone who still plays this game?
I'm a 14-year-old Brazilian. I've been playing this game since 4, but last year my stepmother broke the record, and I also wanted to know if there's anyone who knows where I can download this game.
