This is my fav local spot to walk... Theirs so much more hidden in these woods.... An old fishery near the bottom beck, old ruins of farmhouses, one with its own lake pond, an underground old meat storage cellar and a few bushcraft dwellings built deep off the paths. And the brook that comes off the moors at the bottom end is a fantastic stream walk. It's such a gem of a forest I will never tire of exploring
