Being born into a family with IITian cousins is literally the worst nightmare, just imagine you crack the most difficult exam but everyone in your family goes "cOuLd'Ve DoNe BeTTer"

All the ppl in comment section are just appreciating the last guy . First two did no harm . They were equally humble but just because last guy said others are bttr at different things . You all including me felt bttr deep down because ppl do treat them like they are some sort of geniuses. Tht is why you all are appreciating the last guy . He made you feel that you are equally good. Its your insecurities speaking more than your desire to appreciate him . First two just said they were treated differently which seemed an acceptable and fair answer tbh.

It was inspiring to see the dedication and hard work of these students, and it made me realize the value of education and the sacrifices made by those who strive to achieve success.

Darn, these people are all really amazing! The first guy proved that your marks aren't always indicative of where you're headed in life (he might've still gotten amazing marks but was being humble about it). The second girl showed that the total change or shift in perception gets annoying for everyone. It's truly weird when anything happens, and people start to change how they look at you. Getting respect is fine, but overabundance of anything can give pressure and relay unwanted feelings instead. The last guy truly showed emotional maturity and humility. Considerate of everyone's situations and differences but also reaffirmed that he, even though he is bright and academically gifted, still could do better. Like he still shows respect to everyone there, but also points out that other people may be better at something else.

The last kid's parents should be very proud of him for being so kind and caring about others. That was very nice of him to say that. He is going to be a great father himself someday if he becomes a father.

Points to be noted and considered:
1. There are afaik 25-30 IITs and not all of them have that quality in education, i would say only 10-15 IITs have such good studies.
2. Being in top 2-3 NITs >>> being in the bottom 10-15 IITs.
3. There are other private institutes in like Bits, IIITH, .... Which are at par with the top 5-10 IITs
4. There are many branches, leading to a very large difference in cutoffs of CSE, EE vs other branches.

These are just my observations about IITs, this comment is not meant to hurt anyone's feelings.

People would ask me: you couldn't get seat in an IIT, so you are commenting all these negatives on YouTube.
My ans: with my JEE rank i would have easily gone into ECE or below branches of non-top 10 IITs, and (non-CS or non-ECE) of all non-top 5 IITs, and all other (non-cse non-ECE non-mechanical) branches of all other IITs, but i left all of them for CSE in IIITH

Edit1: some people got offended for me referring to non-CSE non-ECE non-mechanical branches as "low-tier". Genuinely i am sorry

Love how humble the last guy was!
One of the quality which people are lacking these days ♥️

Last guy knows and understand that there are things more important than academics. Also he is quite humble and obviously intelligent.

Since everyone is talking about the last guys, imma talk about the second girl. What she said is utterly true, people are really two faced and I experienced it.
