To anyone wondering, the reason people say earlier versions of fl “hit harder” is simply because newer versions have a limiter on the master when you first boot it up. It can be turned off in 2 clicks.

FL 10 has a limiter on the master and the gain is pushed 5.5dB (default) the new FL is at 0db by default, just crank it up to 5.5 dB

I was on FL Studio when he was in diapers. I had Fruity Loops but the name change. It's also called mixing. Many have pointed out that the template that opens comes with a limiter. Mac and PC are completely the same with FL. They use gaming computers because memory is customizable.

The reason the "FL 11 sounds better" hoax exists is because the limiter is +6 DB. It also doesn't open with a limiter on the master by default. It's funny because these "professional" industry producers get so much money and recognition, but they have no idea what they're talking about lol.

DAWs don't sound different. Don't listen to ANYONE trying to tell you anything else. Even if it is a grammy winning mix or master engineer. If your Standard DAW sounds better than another one its just because you are limited in these functions because you dont know how to translate workflows.
