Along the way, Gareth breaks down the techniques and thought processes of professional pool players in how they approach the potting patterns to clear the table. That was excellent. Thanks so much Stephen and Gareth! I'm a die-hard snooker guy but have such an appreciation for pool. It's a very different game, and I find it very difficult to play well (I completely run out of position, the table dimension confuses the hell out of me, and I just can't read the pattern as Gareth describes in this video). Amazing stuff :)

Gareth Potts came to Stephen Hendry’s Snooker Club in Preston when I was about 13 years old (around 2011) and I won the Saturday kids tournament to play him in one of the 8 exhibition matches he was playing!

I always used to pride myself on my bottle, but when my name got called out to play him I started seeing double! Top guy though I’ve still got the picture my Dad took shaking Gareth’s hand before breaking off - good times! Signed cue and towel still intact too ha!

Great to see him in these videos, he’s a natural coach and explains the game so well!
