This monster biology series is excellent, not just for how feasible it feels, but for the world you've hinted at surrounding it. You're doing fantastic work, keep it up!

I always enjoy revisiting the Frankenstein novel. Mary Shelley does a wonderful job characterizing Adam (the monster) as an inherently gentle soul who does not wish harm on any conscious creature. His spiral into madness and his ultimate regret over his enraged actions are quite thought provoking, as well.

I love the way you tell the story of how you find a way to discuss speculative biology of monsters. It feels like an anthology series.

So much lore added with every new episode! The implications that Dr. Alaric worked for the same company as the narrator, or that he may have had interest in Mothman based on the pin at the exact location of Point Pleasant on the map at 3:28... This is the kind of consistency that makes this series so great.

If this was a documentary series or a book, I would buy it immediately. This is giving me a lot of ideas for my personal worldbuilding project involving monsters.

Those last two lines were perfect! They reference the subtitle of the original Frankenstein “the modern day Prometheus”

While every single episode of this series is fascinating, I PERSONALLY enjoy the ones where cryptids are found as actual animals, I.e. Mothman, Sirens, and Mermaids. Would have liked to have seen Chupacabras done in this way rather than a virus but that video was amazing regardless 😊

Fun fact, the real life inspiration for Mary Shelley’s Dr.Frankenstein was quite possible the Danish-German Dr. Johann Conrad Dippel

I’m honestly loving where this series is going so far and wish this series as far it lasts and I’m wondering were this might go next? Maybe the biology of the invisible man? who knows, I’m excited to see what happens.

Such an amazing series. The story/concept of Frankenstein's Monster is heartbreaking.

“But it can be stolen.” Uuuhhhh that’s ominous. Also what would it mean to “steal” the “fire of consciousness?” Did the creature have the mind of whoever the Good Doctor got the brain from? If not, how else could the creature lead the doc to the conclusion that it “could not be stoked by mortal hands?” Why didn’t it try to escape? If it had the mind of the donor and wanted to die, why would the doctor lead it into the cell with a rope? Why would the rope be necessary, and why starve him to death and not just use a shotgun? SO MANY QUESTIONS

This was interesting. It was a lot different than the usual. I think I prefer the more bestial creatures and less humanoid ones. Although I enjoyed the explanation of all the bones, muscles and internal healing processes from all the different sources. You never really think about how complex all that stuff is when Frankenstein or something similar comes to mind. So many factors involved for creating a compatible creature.

The writing in these videos is amazing, hopefully one day this series will get compiled into a book, tv show, movie, or something of the sorts

I read the book of Frankenstein, and I absolutely *love* your adaptation of it. You even captured the tormented regret that Dr. Frankenstein was filled with.

"It's online! It's ONLINE!!!"
Welcome back! I see that the series is now developing an internal continuity, and incorporating elements beyond just detailing the biology of the various monsters. A lingering effect of doing the "Witcher" episodes and other fiction-related vids, perhaps?
I see not only Frankenstein in this video, but a little bit of "Herbert West - Reanimator" in regards to the use of a reviving fluid. Perhaps It might be nice to hear some speculation as to how Dr. Alaric's work might have inspired one story or the other . . . ?

It's amazing that even with the discussion on the biology and other scientific realisms presented in the video, the empathy and pity felt for the monster is still present - that in any reimagining of Frankenstein still tells the same fundamental story. I'm really enjoying this series and can't wait to watch them all.

Man, that last line really got me. Frankenstein is probably my favorite novel. It's definitely the one I've read the most -- I think I've read it 6 times now. This was very well done.

This was absolutely absorbing, had me hooked from start to finish. The narration was beautiful, really balanced the tragedy of the creature’s abandonment with the clinical lens through which the story has to be told. God, I’m so curious to see if these link into a greater story (though obviously I understand if this isn’t the case). Amazing work dude
