problem with cash flow is that you have to keep track of expected sales receipts and payments, but also have up-to-date bookkeeping system, where you have recorded all sales and purchase invoices, bank payments, credits, so your books will be a reliable source of information for building your cash flow. Most business people hate bookkeeping and/or don't put enough importance into it, but your cash flow don't care how much you like it, or how muc you are tired. If it's not updated, you are lost in a fog and you make rushed decisions hoping you will be lucky.

My business is stressful to run and I always feel worried about the financial side of the business. Every invoice matters to us weekly. This video has made me feel a bit better about the way I operate. I have been in business for 10 years and try to raise my prices a bit each year. Due to inflation in the last couple of years, I have had to increase some prices fairly significantly. For the first time in 9 out of 10 years, I am getting some issues with customers paying. I have had to fire a few customers. I have had to stop spending money on marketing and tighten right down on operating costs in order to be able to pay myself and my employee. It has been a hard year. Luckily for me, I am actively watching most of the points in this video and already practicing most of the recommended advice. Great video. Glad I found your channel. I have started to buy dividend-paying assets this year in order to start offsetting my own payroll costs to my company to be able to keep more money in my business eventually. It seems like my company can either afford to pay me or pay itself. But not both. It is frustrating. Anyways, great video, reinforcing some of the things I sometimes feel guilty about. No one will watch out for you and your business other than yourself. Cater to your great customers, and shed the fat. Don't put up with bullshit. Cheers.

Instead of giving deposit payments, it would be good to give a low credit limit.
