Lata Mangeshkar was the person who lured me into music when I was a small kid in 60's; listening to her I always had a doubt- this was not a human voice.... it couldn't be.... this was, instead, a divine voice brought to instill peace in humans. And I still believe this!!!

Am in real pain, listening to her since I got the news of her parting with us; Her voice will always be the meaning of music!!!

Lost my father and mother at the same time !!! It's been 2 months since they left us...we used to listen to this song as a family. This song was mum and dad's favourite. My father was unwell for a while ...but MAA was absolutely fine. Soon as my father stopped breathing my mother kept saying only one thing my heart has gone now I need to go...my sister was consoling our mother.. MAA you can't do this you need to be strong..all she said was I am proud of my 3 children I am proud of my family..but I have to go... I mean she literally called for death...within a span of an hour my mother too stopped breathing. We knew how much our father and mother loved eachother eternally...MAA and Paa lived together and died together. So this song gives us strength. I feel both our mum and dad's presence ...I feel they're within us❤️ watching over us... always protecting their precious children!!!
