In 2023 what are the best money makers for each skill in oldschool runescape? A lot has changed since I last made a video like this. With tones of new content releases such as tombs of asmascut, nex, the shades of morton and a kingdom divided.

Today I am going to be looking at each skill in oldschool and showing which method is the most profitable. Even though some skills are more profitable than others, each skill does have a profitable method.

Video idea:
Could you do one where you do the fastest way to train each skill to 99 without losing money? So, either things that don't have a cost to level, or things that make money while leveling- as long as you don't have less money than you started with in the end.
This could get a little more complicated than it seems at first. Imagine a skill that takes 10 hours to level completely, without losing any money on it. But what if you used a money-making method for 1 hour, and then, with the money you just made, you can level the skill in only 5 hours, bringing the total number of hours down to 6, and still not technically losing any money. Ideally I'd put a stipulation that you can't use a money-making method that requires a certain skill to be higher level than the one you're currently leveling, but it'd still count imo.

Idk if you'd wanna use some (or all) of this as a video but if you did I'd be all over it. If anyone is gonna have the skills to meet this challenge it'll be you.

Profitable way to level construction: fixing the bridges on the fifth floor of the Hallowed Sepulchre. You get two rolls off the best drop table (not including the ring of course) and a decent number of hallowed marks, for 700 exp. Costs 2 Mahogany planks and some nails, so that’s ~27.5k per roll x2 = 55k - 7880gp for the planks and nails = a profit of 47120gp per 700 construction and 200 thieving exp. Add a couple k’s of gp for the hallowed marks and all the extra agility exp and you’re sitting pretty

11:44 I want to know the back-story of that guy in the addy full helm. Made me laugh so hard. Overall a very helpful video!

I love these types of videos, even if you uploaded the same video once a month with little to no changes, I'll watch them with happiness!

Also something I just found out. For low lvl farmer make sure to plant jutes in the 4 hops patches. They are around 900 gp ea. You get about 15 to 35 per patch and they take about 40 minutes to grow. So I've been adding them in with my herb runs

12:55 Quick tip for anyone potentially interested: I've experimented with black chins, and the vast majority of pkers I see are low levels/pures hunting gold farmers or bots, so it's pretty rare that you get attacked at all.

I've had stretches of hours at a time where I could hunt chins without getting attacked, much less killed.

15:20 Depending on prices, catching Dark Crabs is generally the best gp/hr, as well as double the xp/hr compared to Sacred Eels, but comes with the risk of getting attacked in the wildy. Still, it's pretty safe if you know what you're doing.

Love your videos man, a comfortable way to learn so much about the game.

there are a couple of better woodcutting methods for profit actually: arctic pine and wildy ents. neither gives particularly great xp rates, but they make up for it with actually reasonable profits. a caveat with the arctic pine is that the value of those logs tends to fluctuate, but I've seen them go for around 750gp each which is pretty dang great for their relatively low requirements

I think a really interesting video/challenge would be Most Profitable Money Making per Click. Starting at the GE whats the fewest clicks you can do to make the most money per click on average including travel time. Least click intensive moneymakers.

Couple other options I’d like to offer. Construction: wt/tempo both give small amounts of con xp while profiting. But you also have monsters that drop long/curved bones. The nmz con method nets several 100k per hr for example. Prayer: several bosses/monsters where you can either bury or use sinister offering that can net a lot of money and prayer xp, hydra is the best example but also like dks and cerb

Blast mine also gives fm xp and might be better then urium shades for gp. By far the best gp/hr method for woodcutting is mushrooms on fossil island. In order to make that crazy gp there you have to bank all the fossils and turn them in for numulite after. It’s also really good if you use them for prayer xp and count the “gp gained” as the gp you saved from not buying dbones

For fishing, pretty sure karambwans with fishing barrel / good teleports can net you upwards of 400-500k gp with 40-50k exp/h if you loop it without any delays. I afk a lot and I am not very efficient and still get 30-40k exp with around 300k gp/h using crafting cape/deposit box + construction cape / fairy ring POH. All that assuming 99 fishing.

Woodcutting can be profitable when chopping magic logs, just real slow. But great to afk in prif! Great video as always

Love the vids man keep up the work. Side note for the rc portion I noticed that you only did bloods with just ess. but without blood essence itself which I feel would boost the gp/hr just wondering if you happened to test both with and without to see a gp gap maybe

for wood cutting i would like to say Ents would kinda count for a money maker for woodcutting since the loot table scales off your wc level

For fishing you could have put 2t dark crabs at wildy resource area, it’s over 100k fishing xp/hr and each catch is like 1.3k gp. High reqs but it exists.

Herblore honorable mention: super antifire potions. I was 93 a bit ago when I found out that it was profitable to make super antifire potions for 300k xp/hr. Probably still better for most to train efficiently, but this gave me the motivation I needed to get that 99. Not sure if it's still profitable, but might be worth checking on

6:08 I would argue that using lecterns to make tablets is "construction related", might not be the best
way to make money but at least it's an option. Another option is using the larder and making food preparation
items like a pie shell or pizza bases. Sort of the same as tablets, not the greatest earning potentials.

I think its time to do another money making guide for low or mid lvls because i feel like the options that are optimal have changed a bit and for those people its tough hearing how good a method is but then hearing you need 95 in that level

For anyone who might not know:

In the US, the word “herb” is pronounced without the ‘H’ sound as “erb”.

In the UK, however, the word is pronounced the way it is spelled, with the ‘H’ sound.
