The 2015 Nissan Rogue is a rather fun and capable crossover. In this review we’re looking at the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder SV AWD model with the Premium Package. It features a 170-hp, constantly-variable transmission, heated seats and navigation. Price as equipped: $28,290 including destination.

Got a 2015 rouge s awd after watching this review. My wife and I absolutely love it. Ours doesn't have the blindspot monitoring which is a pain because the rear quarter blindspot is pretty big, but we can still see if we turn our heads enough lol

Traded in my 2009 Honda CRV for a Nissan Rogue last weekend, and I have found some very noticeable differences in the cars. One, my Rogue is 6 years newer, so clearly there are nicer features than my old CRV, but compared to my old brothers 2014 CRV, the Rogue is still much quieter on the inside. Having a phone conversation through my car, he asked me if he was actually through the car because of how quiet and clear I sounded. It's a smooth ride, and has a lot of get up and go when hitting the accelerator. I definitely am content with my new purchase, but I do miss the simplicity of my CRV at times.

So now we know what REALLY happened to Data's evil twin brother Lor -- he moved to Seattle and became an online car reviewing guy!  ;-)

Bought my 2015 Rogue SV AWD used off lease.
67000 miles.
No “major” issues. Compared to my old 2010 Forester.

On this Nissan I got an extended bumper to bumper warranty.
So far headlight assembly was replaced due to water leak.
Evap system behind fuel door was replaced
Front passenger side wheel bearing was replaced.
Seatbelt sensors replaced to address passenger seat airbag warning erratic behavior light.

Compared to my Forester
This isn’t too bad.
Comfortable, great on gas, comfortable on my back.
Smooth ride.
Great sound system.

I’m happy with my Rogue.

Leather is not an option in SV and the CVT makes noise. Only -ves. Compared to others like CRV this has much better quality and low cabin noise and good acceleration.

Looks like a Pontiac Aztek from the front, slightly restyled. Certainly isn't any more versatile or useful than the Aztek that's for sure. (no, I don't own an Aztek).

You asked why buy the Nissan over the CR-V or Forester. I drove both, and the Mitsu Outlander Sport, and picked up the Nissan.

Noticeable things...

CR-V...noisy inside and the multi info display is so small, and very far away, deep set in the dash that i could not read the street names on maps. Useless to me!

Forester...very quiet inside! Spartan looking inside, like it was made in the 1990s. Biggest issues for me were the over-assisted steering and throttle pedal. The pedal I could get used to, but the steering was all over the road with no on-center feel. Had to pay too much attention to trying to keep the vehicle in the center of the lane. It was constantly wandering side to side.

Outlander Sport...noisy inside! Strange placement of some controls. Weird headliner bumps and protrusions. Very nice and fun paddle shifters! Biggest disappointment though, non-opening moon roof! Seriously?

Rogue... although some reviewers complain it only has 175hp, with myself & 3 passengers I have no problems merging onto 65mph highways. No problems at all! More than enough power. Very quiet inside! A little noisy when accelerating hard, but not anywhere near as loud as my WRX or CR-V. I'm not always accelerating hard so I don't have an issue as mostly I'm cruising, or accelerating modestly. Great on center feel to the steering. It stays where you aim it, without constantly having to put in steering corrections. Large info display(s), easy to read and not too far away. Around View Monitor, helps especially when parking since I still don't know exactly where the front of the car ends (hood goes out strait and then dips sharply, and bumper and right fender are out there somewhere...). The monitor shows the right side and front fender, helping me to safely park without fear of scraping vehicle to my right when making a left turn into a spot. Great Bose 9 speaker stereo. Super comfy seats (zero gravity seats). Adjustable rear ventilation for the kids. LED headlights (in addition to LED running lights) that light up the road better than my HIDs. Been averaging 24mpg in city driving (CR-V gives me 19-21 on same route). Real, opening, huge moonroof! Smooth ride, especially over bumpy roads (Active Ride Control). Unhappy with FM radio (Nissan seems to have FM problems for years)!!!
Totally happy with purchase!!!
