My mt bike doesnt have that removable rod. I just mounted on nuts. Hope it doesnt fall off

Is this trainer loud? Can I use your bike trainer with a BMX bike? They're smaller than regular bikes. Or is there a setting to adjust the wheel height? Or another trainer that is smaller. 🚲
