Let's take a look back at the 2021 Roblox Crash, aka the Roblox Chipotle Burrito Incident, on the 2 year anniversary of its start. This was the biggest shutdown in Roblox history.

This event was nuts, it really showed just how terrible Roblox servers are.

It's also comedic how the servers went down again this year just a week before the 2 year anniversary of the burrito incident.

What i miss from this incident is that pretty much every community from adopt me to fighting games had their own copy pastas, remember this one from GPO that said "its been 3 days without gpo, I've been trying to soru dash to my classes and eat the magu at the cafeteria that the teachers told me was just an apple"

i still have memories of this incident. the memory is so clear, and i will never forget it. all i remember of it is being on a laptop, finding the "Making things more awesome" status. i saw it on the first day, and i never knew it was because of the chipotle event.

I was 1 of the rarest players to be able to play the game before the "We're making things better" screen. I joined a random tycoon, which was the first thing i see. I joined a silent server, but when I chat something, it shows just "---". Buttons, UIs, Features still function good. What a strange experience.

I don't think I'm right but my guess as to why it's called the burrito incident is because the chipotle event was taking place and players spiked, adding salt to the wound was that it was nearling halloween, so people were trying to get their halloween event rewards fast, leading to the servers being overwhelmed crashing with severe damage

I can’t be the only person who found it pretty difficult to accept that 2021 was two years ago. Still felt like last year, or months ago.

I was a victim of this outage. I still find this outage admiring, insane, and peculiar how they crashed because of an increase of players. That kind of issue can be fixed pretty quickly. A memory I had was that people, including me were making jokes. I did touch grass for all those three days, though.

Edit: You guys, I am aware it wasn’t that bad. I never cried about it. Of course, I was shocked at first but I didn’t really care later. So if you guys don’t care about this comment, why are you fucking replying?

I remember my region being one of the first to return to Roblox, and it felt so weird because all of the top games on Roblox, such as Brookehaven only had between 10-60 players online.
