One of the best advice on marriage I got to date was from Damilola Mike-Bamiloye. He said "Both of you can't be blowing hot. If he is blowing hot, you blow cold. If she is blowing hot, you blow cold." A fire needs oxygen to keep blazing, take out intentionally anything that fuels fights in your marriage and half the work is done. Remember, your spouse is not the enemy, the devil is so gang up against him instead! A word is enough for the wise👂🏿

This is awesome. 3 man movie with power packed message. This is very typical of most marriages in the early.
I considered divorcing my wife 5 times in the first 2years of our marriage.

We didn't talk for days, infact she wanted to just die one day for you to know how bad it was. She actually fell into a drainage being lost in thought. I was the one who rescued her, she said I should have left her there to die.

Afterwards, we both made up our mind to make it work but I was the one who had to pull the brake on the wrong trip.
Will be 8years soon.

God has been helping us.

I also like the fact that after the husband apologized, they still sat down to discuss their hurt and pain. Not that the husband just apologized and things automatically fell back in place.
That's why many people don't heal from their wounds. Because, in more severe cases, "sorry" would amount to nothing compared to the damage that has been wrecked in the marriage.
And this doesn't only apply to marriage.

I couldn't help commenting on this film.I love the message of love and submission.Its what I learnt from a Christian lady and it helped my home .I was married 35 years when my husband died and God turned things around in our home when I started submitting.My husband also gave his life to Christ and showed me real love.Ive just written a testimony of that which is about to be published.The book is called The place of submission in Marriage by Marie Beth Johnson.God bless your ministry.Marie.

I love the point made by the mother to her son: "Greg, you need to love your wife" Going forward she nailed it with" But then it's your love that will call forth her submission". Hmmnn...so true! Only an insane woman will not gladly submit to a man who has proven his love to her over and over again. I personally think that is where our society is missing it. If husbands must love their wives as Christ loved the church according to Ephesians 5, then i believe that marriages will work better. Many are of the opinion that the wife is first to submit before the husband loves. Well, in my opinion, we can't achieve so much with that, especially with the understanding that Christ loved the church and gave himself for her even when she hadn't known him talk more of dhe submitting to him. The church submits to Christ having seen the overwhelming love shed on her by her groom. So also, I believe husbands should love their wives unconditionally and should not stop loving her for her lack of submission. When the husband who's the head of the home keeps loving her that way, then a day will come when she will come back to her senses and genuinely submit to him. My sincere opinion.
