Once, walking around the territory of an abandoned military airfield,
I got to its auxiliary facilities and unnoticed made my way to the territory of the disbanded military unit.
On the site where the aircraft hangar once stood, which served back in the Great Patriotic War, several trailers and a loader were found.
This low cart was obviously used for dragging planes.
Since the training unit that owned the airfield was disbanded, furniture and equipment were thrown out.
I wanted to take a closer look at this bunch. Strange stand with light bulbs.
A chic layout with a diagram of an air strike by Tu-22M aircraft on an enemy aircraft carrier.
Flight routes and lines of enemy air defense are marked. A few more stands. A huge mountain of monitors and projectors.Scale model of the bunker. Model furniture. Fire extinguishers and refrigerators are piled in separate heaps. One of two large film projectors. Probably, the pilots repeated the school course.
I walked a little further, and an old airfield hangar appeared in front of me.Insides the size of a football field are overgrown with birch trees.
I moved on, and near the walls of a neighboring hangar I came across a pile of aircraft electrical cables with plugs.
The door to the hangar annex was open.
Here the floor is rotten, strewn with the remnants of documentation. From the annex, I stepped through a door marked "Training Hangar."
The roof of the hangar had collapsed long ago, burying everything inside.
Once there were training cockpits of aircraft with electronic screens.
A table converted to a console. A bunch of boxes with incomprehensible contents.
Armchair from the command bunker. Remains of a meal of color-markers. Details of obscure devices.
Kinescopes with torn tubes.
In the corner under the preserved roof, stands with mock-ups of potential targets for raids are leaning against the wall.
There are about two dozen such stands. Outside the gates of the hangar, a sad sight appeared to me.
The entire yard is littered with garbage from the liquidated building. The wall of the training hangar rests on parole.
Once the area between the hangar and the hull was packed with wagons and educational equipment, now there is little left.
Boxes of electronic parts are scattered all over the place. From the equipment remained the support vehicle.
I could not resist looking into the insides of the remaining trailers. Basically, various diplomats and briefcases for documents are dumped here. On the floor is a box with spare connectors.
Also on the site, I found a dynamic platform from the Mi-24 helicopter simulator.
According to the guard of the dismantled building, the building still belongs to the military, two more simulators are stored sealed inside. After making sure that I couldn't get inside the building, I continued my walk around the airfield. But that's another story...
