I think most gamers miss physical media if not for the boxes and extra but also for actually owning the game. Now days, with digital purchases they can take anything away from you on a whim.

I didn't get a NES until the mid-00s, but I remember spending ages looking at the NES pages of the Argos catalogues in the early 90s.

We discuss this every so often on twitter. Remembering when you got manuals, books and wall maps in games. Unfortunately those days are long gone.

lack of manuals these days, kids are really missing out. I used to love the fluff and even the advertisements for upcoming products in the leaflets and manuals.
