Показать описание
This is an educational video about Number Pattern in Maths. It includes 4 different types of Mathematics number pattern examples. The video is like a complete the number pattern activity.
Maths Number Patterns
In a number pattern, numbers follow some sort of a rule. It is easier to understand the number pattern and to be able to predict the numbers in the pattern once the rule that is being followed in the number pattern is understood.
Here is an example of a Number pattern
12,17,22,27,32,?
What should come next ?
In this example, the first number given is 12 and then each number is exactly 5 more than the previous number, so the next number in the pattern should be 32 plus 5 that is 37
Here is another example
31,29,27,25,23,?
What should come next ?
In this example, the first number given is 31 and then each number is exactly 2 less than the previous number, so the next number in the pattern should be 23 minus 2 that is 21
Here is another example
2,4,8,16,32,?
What should come next ?
In this example, the first number given is 2 and then each number is exactly 2 times the previous number, so the next number in the pattern should be 2 times 32 that is 64
Here is another example
23,27,23,27,23,27,?
What should come next ?
In this pattern, numbers simply alternate between 23 and 27, first number is 23 and then 27 and then again 23 followed by 27 and the numbers continue to alternate, so the next number should be 23
