Why write a paper during Master's degree?

sir my sister is a bioinformatics 1st year phd student but the advisor is giving him work only on Machine learning and cse domain stuff...she is very stressed . how should she handle this?she is afraid if she said anything to him he might fire her or make her leave his lab ?what to do she is very stressed !!she just started her phd journey so i think she is scared of this new place n all....please tell how should she handle this?

hi, can on the basis of a remote masters program like from world quant uni, can we apply for phd from europe, bcoz most professors have reservations in remote online masters, isnt it ? also tell if we take WES equivalency will it count ?
P.S. Msc from WQ Uni is USA accrediated.

Sir, it is almost impossible for an Indian student to publish a paper in pure mathematics during masters as the knowledge gained while pursuing masters is way way less than the knowledge needed to churn out new results in pure mathematics
