I’ve noticed using a graphics tablet (the kind with no screen) seems to have helped my posture. It’s still not great, but my drawing being closer to head-level helps keep me from hunching over.

I shrimp so bad, even in a good chair. I bought a standing desk, so I can switch between sitting and standing when I notice I'm shrimpin

I always put my legs up on the chair though so that ruins my posture 😭

Jessie actually has the cow headset! That's adorable!

Anyway, I use a pretty plain dining chair because I'm not a fan of the spinny office chairs. I like a more solid seating surface, and between the rotation and inclination of the seat, and the wheels constantly rolling around I have never found an office chair that really worked for me. I also couldn't get used to the arm rests, they always got in the way for me.

Still, not slumping/shrimping is very important. As I said in another comment, lifting and angling your drawing surface helps a LOT. Just think about how drafting tables do it and try to figure out how to emulate them.

Ever since I started doing that, I haven't had any back pain due to drawing even though that's my full time job now. (I only get it from sleeping in awkward positions now.)
