I’ve got a petrol 208 GTLine and even though I’ve owned Audis, a BMW and two Mercs ( as well as your Fords etc) it’s the best car I’ve ever had. It looks beautiful, it handles like a go kart and the economy is great.

I have the Alure plus version of this and I absolutely love it! It is amazing to drive (I could never go back to petrol or diesel), the range is great and the cockpit / design make it feel really special. But. Oh the cables! Why? I live in Spain and here it comes as standard with the same case, but we get the Granny charger. I have never used the granny charger and immediately needed to by a wall box cable (which i rather resented). My wallbox cable lives on the floor in the back of the car as i need the boot space. Not a deal breaker, but sad that they didn't think to provide a proper storage space.

They could have put in a false floor for the cables or even the back of the rear seat.

Spot on about the charging cables. The amount of design effort that did not go into working out where to store the cables is worrying. I wonder what else was not well designed for the EV version that we cannot see.

A type-2 cable actually fits below the false floor, when needed. Got a small 11kWh go-eCharger Home+ and one adapter and it will give me all the options for charging what can even be achieved with this. Do not live in 🇬🇧, though.

In my country at least it comes with regular mode2 schuko cable.

Have you tried to fit the cable in the repair kit hole ? Does it fit at all ?
If yes, maybe it's possible to create a custom box for the repair kit and fit both...

I like the in-formalness of the review, but let’s be honest. Them not including a 3-pin charger isn’t that big of an issue.

It takes almost a day to fully charge your E208 via 3-pin.
If you’re “visiting your granny”, you might barely get 20-30 extra range maximum if you stayed a few hours.

Under 30k well you kinda need it spec to 34k to make it the car that everyone review' and had the tech.. but technically Yes you could get it for 29k

Also the Range is disappointing they should of went 58kwh and be the Zoe side.. they missed the mark on this....
