How exactly does it maintain the integrity of art if the artist is essentially being replaced? I sure hope they don't mean that the artist's new role is to set up monitors for AI art exhibits.

Those portraits are hideous and they're shallow, they don't even evoke different emotions. I wouldn't call it art. Also, there aren't quite infinite portraits, the latent space is finite. It's a poor articulation of the idea that AI can work faster than a human.
