Ernest Emerson has a great story and makes great knives. You’re right. It’s not for the person starting out. I was a Benchmade dude and Spyderco. I’m Spyderco and Emerson now. More Emerson since I have so many spyderco’s and you can get deals on them. Emerson’s never lol

I really like my super A100! That Joe X guy has a video where he torture tests an A100 and the thing just won’t die! I’d really like to find an EX100, but it seems like those are really rare. Great video Chuck!

Love the Emersons. I’m a lefty so I’m more limited on my choices but most often it’ll be an Emerson in my pocket.
Steel is 154CM, not CPM154, though. Writing this at the 10 minute mark so if you end up correcting yourself before the video ends, my bad. 😉

My first Emerson is the CQC-7 made in 2002, still have it. I’d much rather have the Emerson vs anything from China no matter how smooth or slick it is.

Never had a Emerson but like that super 7 model. Agree on liking the tanto better, when i buy a medford i always buy the tanto blade shape.
