How to take WES ANDERSON style photos with YOUR iPhone

It's accidentally Wes Anderson. The iPhone photography challenge for today. Can you capture photos in this style?

Tips:

- Square crops.
- Retro vintage vibe.
- Bright solid colours.
- Symmetry & balance.
- Snap shots.
- Bright daylight.
- Funky architecture.
- Minimalism.
- Miniature world.
- Embrace 60s & 70s style, then add weird.

There are countless others but these are what come to mind while writing this description. Photography in this style is surprisingly easy, however the subject matter can be hard to find.

In Hamburg we are lucky with retro underground stations that haven't been change in decades. We also have a few new ones that add to the creative trend. What do you think of the photo results?

Some great images, I love trying to photograph the underground network here but if I tried to set up a tripod on the London underground, I would be decended upon by every security guard within a ten mile radius, I have only ever managed some handheld images but, like your images, I love the architecture the symmetry and the mix of old and modern design, great images, really liked that !

Great images and lovely railway stations make the UK stations look dull; I follow Saul Leiter, who also takes very striking images in New York with very bright colors.

Greg, what remarkable places you have to visit to do your photos in. The lighting and architecture is Amazing!! Great tips for iPhone Photography my friend. Thanks for sharing.. @gregorsnell will be in Munich, Stuttgart and Beilngries in beginning of June. Any recommendations on places to see or go? I will in that are to visit my daughter who is on exchange there for about a week then off to a bit of Austria and Balsamo, Italy I think for few days in each spot. I plan not to bring my big camera and plan on using my phone for most as not a lot of time to explore as the boss has things she wants to do while there.. Thanks again
