I love Fighter Bomber with this great device! Also, imagine a game written directly for the SuperCPU! With a much faster processor and countless times more RAM, that would produce awesome results!

Why do so many of these videos list the C64 has having the 6502 processor when instead it had the 6510?

Besides the hideously high price tag at the time, little "fun" software was made during its commercial shelf life. It enhanced games, sure. But I count only two games on there that both looked good and controlled well. If anything, the best side scrolling shooter that uses the processor was made far more recently.

VIC-II and SID running at 1MHz? How is it able to have multiple frequencies and still share the bus? There is such little information on this topic. It's like I'm surrounded by mere *USERS.*

How did they manage to get higher framerate? I understand that CPU is faster but Vblank interrupt should stay at 50 Hz (PAL)/60 Hz (NTSC) so the framerate should stay the same. Faster CPU should spend less time to draw the frame but framerate should not change as VIC-II chip remains unaffected despite the faster CPU. Looks like they messed with Vblank too.
