There was a girl in my hs who would do this so often she somehow ended up in the student-ran antibullying assembly and made a huge deal about the accusations. The whole assembly was her basically trying to convince everyone her constant breaks were real and that shes sooo upset that people accuse her of faking. Meanwhile, shes in a boot or crutches every other week bc she somehow broke it doing nothin but eating hot cheetos. 💀💀 Like girl, we all knew. She did it throughout middle school, too. Wonder what shes up to these days.

Due to how i grew up, i had anxiety of being seen like that cause of the reation from my parents id get when id be sick. Let just say i had perfect attendance all through school til senior year when i got into some heavy shit that made me sick enough to leave early at least. Still keep actual illness to myself, including my mental side which isnt healthy but i dont trust anyone to tell this where i could get help

Yea I have a girl like that in my class she literally had all these people feeling sorry with her ‘broken leg’ until it was sport and we were doing dogeball and she didn’t want to sit out so she said that the doctor said that it’s fine if she’s running and only hurts when she is walking 😂

I got injured and ended up using crutches for 2 weeks. There was a girl at school who would always offer to carry my books. I would smile and tell her "Thank you!" every time and she would light up. It felt like no one ever showed her appreciation and it broke my heart.

I had kinda the opposite happen.
Forget exactly what grade it was, 5th or 6th I think, but we were playing outside after it rained and of course, there was mud. One of the popular (but kind) girls slipped and hurt her ankle, and was limping a little, everyone was fawning over her, and when they were walking away I ALSO slipped and twisted my ankle. I came limping up the small hill and they gave me disgusted looks, clearly thinking I was doing it for attention, I even heard them whispering stuff like "[they're] definitely not even hurt" or "why [are they] faking hahaha" (paraphrasing, this was like over a decade ago). Eventually the popular girl stopped limping and said to me "it doesn't even hurt anymore" to which I responded "MINE STILL DOES????"
My ankle eventually stopped hurting once we got back to class but I don't think they ever believed me that I genuinely hurt myself.
Girls can be so cruel.

There is a girl in one of my classes this year and she came to school with crutches and had her friend carrie everything because her DANCE TEACHER told she cant put wait on her foot because she “sprained it” then she said she twisted it 2 mins later then 5 mins later she’s still talking about her foot and how it could be broken but it probably has nothing wrong with it then proceeds to tell us that she hasn’t gone to the doctor to see if her foot is actually hurt. The next week of school her foot is all the sudden fine a few weeks go by and she told the class yesterday that her DANCE TEACHER told her she needs crutches again not even a brace or sum I was like bru 😑 I kept my mouth shut cause if I asked a question it would have turned out mean. This same girl also makes everything about her her braces are hurting she has to tell all of us cast list for musical theater comes out she tells one of the lead actors that she already memorized all of there lines that she doesn’t even have the role of the week she one day she came to school with crutches it was auditioning week and she said “might as well give me Crutchie I’d be perfect for that cause I have crutches” (Crutchie is a character in the musical we are doing)

Haha, one time I did over exaggerate something—I recently got surgery, pretty minor surgery. we were away from the house for about two days, my sister still home. I had adopted a dog while we were away from the house, (long story, I can tell it if anybody cares lol) but my sister didn’t know. My parents got inside and told her she needed to help me walk inside, and when she came out and opened the car door she saw me and my new dog, the sweet little fool in my Pfp. Love her :)
