Woodpeckers should be worried about these new high quality tools from WEN! They are very accurate, very well made, and some of the most affordable precision woodworking tools I've ever used.

Just a comment about Woodpeckers: I was fortunate to have a personal one-on-one tour of their manufacturing facility. As a manufacturing engineer I was interested in their processes. Their array of the latest machining technology and the volume of CNC multi-axis machining centers is more than a little impressive. I was blown away, and that's not easy to do with my experience. Interestingly, I learned that 40-50% of their production is sold to tool collectors. It would be awesome to afford to fully equip my shop with their products, however, I'm just a hobbyist and conservative buyer. I really enjoy your product reviews. It has helped me on numerous occasions.

I’m most impressed by the magic pocket…subtle, but I may have rewatched that part three or four times to confirm that your t-shirt does not in fact have a sneaky pocket. Very helpful video!

The triangular scale is an architects scale. It is for pulling off measurements from scaled blue prints. Use three 1/4” scale to measure/draw 1/4” =1’-0” blue prints, etc.

I have a Wen bench drill press, trim router, and planer with helical head. I love their products. Wen is so under rated. Thanks for supporting Wen Matt.

I have the wen band saw. Have been using it for a couple of years now with absolutely no problems. I don't have any T shaped marking square with holes for pencil. Been thinking about it so I went ahead just now and ordered the 3 when ones. They are a very reasonable price. Thanks for this video

Igaging (American owned company) have some great tools. Just got their 3" and 6" combo set of squares. Came with a case and a mechanical pencil (lead included). Thanks for the video and the outro was a cool surprise!

"That's fine as you type away on your foreign device". Priceless Matt! You can now drop the mic! I do prefer American made but hey, as long as it works.

The "tri-ruler" is an Architect's rule. Engineer's rules are similar, but are laid out in tenths of an inch.

Just watched your presentation - And I'm still chuckling. I like your "Woodpecker fandom outfit' and the price tag. Your presentations are always informative - this one stood out with its great comic relief.

I have been a fan of Wen Tools for a while. I own several, including the 10-inch variable drill press, track saw, and 9-inch bandsaw. I am an occasional DIY guy, so I am not putting them through heavy usage, but to this point, I have had no issues, and they do the jobs I need them for at a price that I can afford.

Here's a little clarification on the company (from their website): "WEN products are made in many locations around the world, including the United States, Germany, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and China. WEN's headquarters are in West Dundee, Illinois, and they also have warehouses in several US locations."

I have many WEN items. I stumbled across these WEN measuring tools a few months ago and they are indeed awesome. I like black more than red. 😁

Hey Matt great video and Wen makes some awesome stuff! The 6 sided ruler is actually an architectural ruler commonly used to draw blueprints, there are 6 "scales" on it,
1/4" = a foot, 3/8"= a foot and so on, no metric on that particular ruler, cool products from Wen though!!!

The triangle ruler is an Architects scale ruler, it is not metric, it has six different scales for measuring drawings.
