God I love her so much. She’s so badass but so easy to talk to. And she’s the captain of her own fleet. Not just ship, but fleet. She earned her vision in one of the most badass ways ever but doesn’t even care that she has it. And she’s super kind, being willing to take people in as long as they prove they can put in some work.

Beidou’ s comment makes me realize how kind of strange it is that Genshin’s story and lore doesn’t address the whole team building dynamic much at all. Which wouldn’t be odd in itself except for the fact that the game goes out of its way to justify every other little tiny thing about itself with lore, down to goofy special events and such, but the fact that you can play as all these characters that canonically wouldn’t be fighting with you (and who then later don’t acknowledge being in your party) is kind of hand waived. Not a complaint, really, just something I never thought about.

I feel like the characters I have are just replicas of the real deal, and like a body without a personality (except their idle animations / statements)
