The first time I wore makeup I genuinely did get the first reaction and I can first handedly say it's not great, it's annoying when you just do something to feel better about yourself and then people pay more attention to you and are all whispering and checking you out, was annoying beforehand, but for the attention to double and people are talking about you loud when you just try to mind your own business is annoying. Also It makes you feel just as self conscious when people are whispering and staring. Girls panic when they are on their periods or if they sit on anything, have anything in their hair/on their back etc, and yet everyone wants to be stared at constantly in this sense? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️Most of the time other people are too shy to say anything too so those ones especially will just make you feel uncomfortable, because you don't know why they're staring, even when it may be for a nice(or creepy reason) it's not necessarily a good thing, you can attract the same negative attention. Some people used to try to put me down because of being jealous too, as I'd be wearing something very subtle and they'd have a full face of makeup, then they'd be bitchy when told to remove it as most of the time looked like they had a full face of makeup and often also it being combined with uneven fake tan only on their face, arms, and sometimes legs, then more bronzer. (Looking 5 shades darker than their usual skin tone). Were often made examples of and yet continued to wear it and then had to wipe most of their faces off and whatever else was necessary to tone it down enough to be okay. 🤔🙄

Half of the time the more people wore, the more they got used to it and then the more they feel uncomfortable without it too.🤔🤷🏻‍♀️ Just a lot of unnecessary hassle. I just personally like to go without being perceived if can, I don't like being stared at just for the sake of people doing so, but that's just me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

When i was in 5th grade i had real long natual eyelashes (be of anxiety i cryd) some people would actually compliment my eyelashes and even when i would wear mascara.
