Jongmyo Shrine is a unique and interesting UNESCO World Heritage site in Seoul, South Korea. Founded in the 14th century, it's an ancient Confucian shrine dedicated to members of the Joseon royal dynasty which ruled Korea for 600 years. There's some really cool stuff to see here, and it gives a great insight into the worship and religious practices of Korea's most important dynasty. Let's have a look!

In Korean, the "eo" sound is one syllable, not two. It's like the "uh" sound in English. So, it's JO-SEON, two syllables, not three. Pronounce is like "JOE-SUN".
