That's why it's in such a mess destruction and it doesn't help people kicking shit out of it 💯 percent but overall I'm new to your channel and I'm liking it big time .
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK I LOVE THESE OLD MINES AND CAVES.

It's one thing to dig the mines, but what amazes me is the time it took to order, receive and place into the mines all that equipment. People today would just think they called Amazon and had it Next Day delivered.

That horizontal fault was unusual - really made that adit look like a subway tunnel!

Cool mine thanks for taking us along. Leave the greenhorns at home until they get more time. Then do the inclines.

Great spelunking, haven't done that in years. There was a mine shaft in the Glendora Mts.(So.Cal) that we would go into. The story behind it involved Chinese miners back in the early 30s.It was said they did all the work, but never panned out.The ceiling was only maybe 4and a half ft.tall so you have to stoop over the whole way in.And you had to climb over the tailings to get in.Don't know if they blockaded it in.👍

As an old school tree-climber, back in the day we use the knot I think you're talkin about. we called it, the monkey fist. It's an old-school military knot and it does work decent. I've never used the ascenders or descenders before, that would be different.. stay safe in there.

The vandals at the end are uniquely talented but no excuse that's still messed up, so in another words Successful Failure

Nice job guys! I’d say it was worth the difficult ascent!

6:37 They perhaps used the side buggy thing you demonstrated at the start of the video...

The right angle track that you say doesn't make sense, is a jump set (at least at the mine that I worked at), where a pneumatic powered mucking machine (we used Eimco 21's) to drawpoints, and dump the ore sideways to a waiting ore car positioned on the main track.

When was the mine last used do you know

When I first started exploring mines 60 years ago, the rule was to bare to the right or to the left so you didn't miss any of the drifts and not get lost (which is almost impossible in any mine).
