How anybody could think Liberace was anything but an old queen is unbelievable.

I worked w Martin Sheen for years and as a gay man myself, I can tell you Martin is most definately not gay. He is however one of the nicest men in Hollywood. A treal class act and extremely kind human being.

I was lucky enough to attend a piano concert performed by the brilliant Liberace! This was at least 55 years ago. I never thought about his sexuality! I was simply grateful to witness his genius and his showmanship was outstanding!🙏❤️

Elizabeth Taylor befriended them all -- Van Johnson, Montgomery Clift, James Dean, Roddy McDowell, Rock Hudson etc etc.

This is a perfect example of a website that uses a cheap "Text to Voice" website that produces a narrator that cannot pronounce famous names correctly. Pathetic and unprofessional.

Liberace: no one could contain all of that fabulousness in a closet.

We must give, Scotty Bowers, a big " Thumbs up " 👍 and thank him for keeping some names off his " memoirs, " but, he was not the only one with a " who's, who " list of Hollywood men and women of the ' Lavender Scare ' era. Scotty, made public knowledge of those who had passed away and kept quiet on the ones still and barely living. There was nothing to gain by outing those, especially if they were married.
I knew and know so many of them, but, not many are left and some might outlive me, no-one past early 1970's have to worry, because things are changing towards acceptance. Thank goodness !

A glaring omission from the life of Tab Hunter is his 35-year relationship Allan Glaser, an executive at 20th Century Fox. They married as soon as it became legal. Hunter said, and I paraphrase, that Allan had brought more love and happiness to his life than he ever thought possible.

I knew Scotty Bowers and he was honest 100% I saw it first hand and experienced it. He never kiss and told until he was a very old man when the people he outed were all gone, He lived to be into his 90’s. Trust me, BELIEVE IT !

The Martin Sheen claim is a hard one to believe.

"Brando was deeply attached to Cox". I am dead...🤣🤣🤣

I have always found it strange that the knowledge of a person's sexual preference should be announced on demand. As long as innocents are not abused or harmed, (Example children or animals) I do understand actors and actresses protecting their livelihood.

So what. They had a right to live as they wished. It was their business. I am straight, but I believe we all have rights.

A Liberace tale not previously told . . .

I did work for him in the late-Sixites at his home situated above Sunset Blvd.
He had a pipe organ there and it played not only from its console but as well from large paper record-rolls. The interceding mechanism between the roll reader and all the pipe (an 132 coil 'relay') was the job, specifically that of rewinding its wire coils which had come undone over a half century (bad varnish), appearing much like a mass of hair totally unusable.
Well it took a good week's worth of work to do, and sometimes Lee (he 'suggested' that I address him as such after enduring "Mr. Liberace" for days) would come in and watch the procedure, with he himself even once trying and doing very well at coil rewinding! (Likely the only real work he ever did!! Of course as expectable he had most nimble fingers.)
Funny story as attending -- I asked 'Lee' if I might see his rolls.
He said yes, that he kept them in the garage. At which news I thought 'uh-oh, likely ruined from moisture or gnawing rats!'
Prepared for the worst (i.e. no rolls for proving our work good and finished) we went out-back to see.
He pulled-up the garage door (more 'work') and said "here they are!'
I looked around and exclaimed "I don't seen any!"
He said "HERE, it's brand new" pointing to a newer Rolls-Royce, one of a number of them !!
"Oh!" I said mouth-agape! "Sorry I meant he rolls for playing on your instrument!"
His mouth agape he let out a huge laugh as did we both, understanding our errors of ill-communication!
He was so patient with his restorer wanting to view (supposedly) his automobiles!
Lee was like that. Very easy-going, solicitous and accommodating. (And paid well!)
Once after all was done was an informal dinner to which my restoration partner and I were invited.
The dramatis personae present were Lee, his Mother (she conversing with my partner in Polish), Phyllis Diller (Lee's pal having that trade-mark laugh sounding much like an warning freight train) partner Joe, Jamie James (Lee's publicity guy), all-in-all making six of us in all.
It was a very good experience which I'll never forget.
(I'd watched his earliest shows in '53 when a kid in Portland OR which entranced me, and so he was a sort of legend to myself and very awesome.)
The 'rolls' we found in the organ chamber in perfect playing condition.
At the dedication ceremony for the newly playing gilded console instrument, the demo roll which 'Lee' chose was . . . Gershwin's "Song of the Flame, " (1925), and personally played "The Boy Next Door" (1944)
How V-E-R-Y fitting was that one, I do believe! 😂

The AI voiceover is horrible. Don’t post content if you’re not going to red your own script. It’s worthless schlock. Do better or don’t do.

The relationship between Brando and James Dean was trivial. More significant was Brando's relationship with James Baldwin.
