Bic’s CD single entered the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) top 100 chart on the 27th of July 1998, eventually peaking at the #10 national position.

In 1999, the song was included on the soundtrack of the Universal Pictures hit motion picture, ‘American Pie’.
