Cleveland area weather forecast: Watching for weekend rain

Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Oct. 11, 2024: The weekend has arrive! Luckily we will continue to experience the warm side of fall, but its coming with rain.

Going into the weekend, our next front will be stalling across the area. This front will be the focal area for showers to develop starting Saturday.

Showers will be in the area by Saturday afternoon. The placement and exact timing of the damp weather are still in question, given the set up. Latest model guidance bring showers across the North Coast post-midday through the evening.

Scattered showers will be likely Sunday but trending drier as the front lift northward.

A north breeze will really get going Sunday night into Monday. With a north wind flowing across the lake, lake effect showers will develop Monday. Showers will linger into midweek with highs in the 50s.
