As a fellow author, the overall vibe of your message and thoughts resonate so deeply with me. I'll be honest. I write in what appears to be a completely different genre, and while your covers are exquisite, I was never sure whether I'd connect with the story behind it. But after hearing your thoughts about your series (and upcoming book), I see how wrong I was. That will teach me, once and for all, to not judge a book by its cover. And hearing your thoughts on the idea about a prequel novella and how it bubbled to the surface without ever having any plans to write it. Yes, that. Ditto. It's also why, for me at least, and because of the way those types of stories rise up inside of you and need to be told, that they also become our favorite and most meaningful as authors. And when we're true to ourselves as authors, writing from the heart, the reader feels that same thing. For that reason alone, I can't wait to download Anomaly and dive into your series.
