The homes show beautifully. My only pet peeve with open floor plans is that while they are breadth taking to look at you really lose a lot of privacy. Kitchens can be very noisy and of course aromatic. Difficult to read a book or do pretty much anything else when a meal is being prepared because of the activity surrounding you. Can’t take a private phone call or watch TV either without listening to a lot of background noise. I love doors everywhere so I can be around people as much or as little as the occasion requires.

With the garage on either side it looks like a duplex.

For Sacramento folks, 2000 sq ft is a starter home. For most Bay Area folks, 2000 sq ft is a huge forever home.

Isn't it wonderful to pay so much and feel like a sardine packed tightly in a can. I doubt there's even ten feet between each home anymore. I found so many homes today that are built on property that isn't even packed correctly and within a couple of years you find cracks all over your foundation and driveway. IMHO way to much money for tightly packed homes that aren't built that well. Show these same homes in 5 years and see what a difference you will find. IMHO

I live in North Highlands. There is no way I could afford any of the houses that you have displayed here. Most of the people I know are on SS and fixed incomes. A 600-900 thousand dollar home would be way out of the ball park. Doesn't anyone ever think about us poor folks. We need good housing, or apartments that WE could afford. Fancy stuff just doesn't make it.
