Thanks it worked but how do you restore registry if it gets corrupted? Is there a way to have a history of saves where you can chose?

My configuration manager screen is blank, and right-clicking and selecting "new" all options are greyed out..?..

Thanks for this. I wish there was an easy way to double click a file to make both the registry and task scheduler changes. I have already created a .reg file that I can merge and I also have an XML export of the task scheduler entry but that still requires opening task scheduler and importing it. I'm trying to do this on all my customers PCs that come into my workshop as it could really help if something goes wrong with their registry sometime in the future. I really don't understand why Microsoft disabled this feature.
