Payne's Gray is a lovely granulating color.

PV19 in Rose Dore could also be a quin red or quin rose. So you could use any of this:
DS quin rose,
DS quin red,
Schmincke permanent carmine,
Szmal quin red
White Nights quin red
All of them are PV19 and are this lovely red with coral rose hue.

I've done now a mix of a little bit of Hansa (I think any middle yellow will do) and Szmal's quin red, watered it down and I've achieved Rose Dore 😍 thank you for inspiration 😻 (I'm still learning how to mix colors)

These colors go great together. I see sunset on the ocean....the blue-grey water, the orange-pink sky. :-)

Like you, I also wish Derwent would expand the Drawing pencil range. Even if they added 6-12 more colors, it would be a nice expansion.

On Blick, they've been adding colors individually to the Derwent Drawing pencil line

Sodalite also comes in a DS watercolor stick, I cut it to fit into a full pan and it lasts a long time. Love these colors, a gorgeous palette.

You have some beautiful new watercolors. Rose Doré reminds me somewhat of Cactus Flower. And yes to the pencils. Thanks!

Hi Alyona, thought I would mention that I have watched several videos where the presenter mentioned the scratchiness of burnt sienna 10%, but also the cassel earth. The Indian yellow has also been found to have brown bits in the lead, which leaves streaks behind when using this pencil. But then others have no problems with these colors. Perhaps they are the older ones and the formulas have changed?

A few of my Caran dache are scratchy like this . I heard it’s actually a common problem with them x

I love your color choices!!💖 This month I've been exploring colors I've not before, like Organic Viridian and Green Gold:) Now I'm looking for a green gold that's low-staining, if anyone's got suggestions!☺️

Hi A! Thanks for all the wonderful information! I bought the Rose Dore after watching the review on your and Natasha Newton’s channel. Do you find that the texture is different than other paints? The paint in my tube feels almost like there is too much binder... I’m just curious if that is unique to my tube or if you noticed that in yours as well? Such a beautiful color! (Also, I have a large tube, and the pigment information is correct.) 🤷🏼‍♀️
