Season five will chronicle the aftermath of last season’s horrific events and find the characters coming to terms with the consequences of their choices – as they make the realization that if they really want to change their futures, they must first face the past. Helen (Tierney) begins the season involved in an intoxicating new affair with a charismatic movie star (guest star Claes Bang), who offers to give her everything she’s been missing. Noah (West) meanwhile has to swallow his pride and his jealousy and step in to take care of his family in her absence. But just when things seem to have stabilized, a chance encounter with someone from the distant past sets in a motion a sequence of events that brings them both to their knees. Paquin stars as Alison and Cole’s now adult daughter Joanie Lockhart, who returns some years in the future to piece together the truth about what happened to her mother, bringing the whole story full circle.

I'm confused this lady is whining at Helen when she is the one asking her to lie and pretend to be the mother of Sierra's baby lol. When I saw part of this scene in the trailer after last week's episode I thought she was yelling at Helen because Sierra got in a car accident with the baby that is both Vik's son and her grandson and was seriously injured or worse killed. Also why doesn't Sierra ask Eddy's grandma to babysit him instead of begging Helen or locking the kid in the car with the window open like he is a dog or worse taking him for a drive while she is high on cocaine?

Sasha is turning Helen. He is showing Helen that family is not that important, that she is being used which I don't think it's true. Helen has always been a person who supported her family no matter what, even when Noah cheated and abandoned them, she was there, she was the strongest on. Vik's mom can be overbearing but she needed that favor from Helen. After Sasha' s party Helen realized that maybe Sasha is a different person he was so cold when he turned down the veteran director considering they had a commitment. Maybe Sasha is not the kind person he portrayed in the first and maybe Helen has changed too, She was the person who was always there for everyone.

Got to say this Joanie storyline is absolute rubbish.

Lmfao Vik's mother makes Helen's mother Margaret look like a Saint. Margaret despite her witchcraft rivaling personality at least takes care of her grandkids so Helen and to a lesser extent her ex-son in law Noah can hold on to careers and have lives outside of just being responsible for their children. All Vik's mother does is complain to Helen even after Vik is dead. I wonder if she disowned her grandson Eddy because he was born out of wedlock in an inter-racial relationship based off a one night affair lol .

Meantime the show is terrible, Noah is nauseating, Helen is a martyr, Joanie, dumb storyline. They really needed Ruth Wilson to keep this stupid story together, .
