My great X3 uncle was the Sergeant Major of the Alamo garrison. He was actually a West Point graduate and a lieutenant in the U.S. Army. According to some sources he and a few other military officers from the US were actually sent secretly by President Jackson to assist the Texans in their rebellion.

The place is really haunted. Not only that but there are lower floors they don't talk about, especially going to the Gardens way. Also, as you facing the main doors; The firing squads favored the left side. That's where they killed Crocket. You can also see, by the walls discoloration that the firing line was down-site. Santa Anna troops shot from the walls for quite a bit. The soldier in the compound were fish in a barrel. Also the building off the garden, across the street, is almost worst - as far as haunting.

Makes ya wonder if such laws we're in place today, how would this selfish world still be. History is Great and a must reminder how hard core they we're and willing.
