God of Small Things sounds fascinating. I really need to get deeper into Blake one of these days.
The best of luck to you in writing your dissertation!

I’m so glad to hear you are enjoying TGOST so far, because, as you know, I often refer to it as one of my favourite books of all time. One of these days I must build up the courage to read it again. 😅 I managed to do that a couple of years ago with the other book I generally refer to in the same conversation: A Fine Balance - and it was a really worthwhile experience.
Anyway, back to your video…😬

This is the first time I'm hearing that The God of Small Things has detractors. One writerly friend still pulls that book out every now and then just to read specific passages, and it is the favourite book of another friend. Meanwhile, it has sat on my shelves for many a year, still unread. I look forward to hearing your final thoughts on it. Also gained some knowledge about William Blake that I didn't previously have, so thank you for sharing.

Thought of you after news of the shooting yesterday. I hope you and all that you know are ok.
