Fetching data from MYSQL database to HTML dropdown list

Hello friends in this session we will learn how can we fetch data from mysql to html dropdown list?
There are certain situations in which it is very difficult to code in between select and /select The length of code is increased by this way. Here is a solution for it. We can perform same task using php fetch array concept.

how about as I select in the dropdown a certain text changes as well
for example, I selected a student id and once I do, there will be other information from the db according to the student id, such as the name, age etc.

I watched your video on Youtube about drop down list....
I have form that shows all data from student table, but I want select by Class ID or by City
After I select from Drop down city name, I want to see how many student are from those city.

I can set fixed value like
$sql = "SELECT * FROM showstudent where Courseid ='CPTR100'ORDER BY id";

but I want to use drop down list and after I select, I want data populated.
Please help.
