Soldier's Joy / Arkansas Traveler - Clawhammer Banjo

Playing my banjo in the north woods of Minnesota on a beautiful spring day.

The songs are Soldier's Joy and Arkansas Traveler. I am tuned to Double B (Double C tuned down half a step). This is based on Mike Iverson's version of both songs. Hope you like it.

Wow. Gorgeous pickin', gorgeous setting. I've never heard Soldier's Joy in that tuning, really nice variation. It blows me away how easy you make that look, I'm learning clawhammer and I always feel like my brain and my fingers just don't communicate. Guess I better practice more.

I just started playing banjo after about 5 years playing guitar on and off.
It's odd to get used to but all the practice is paying off, and it is helping keep cabin fever at bay.
