This video is a showcase of some hidden synergies in The Binding of Isaac Repentance with the items Jacob's Ladder and 120 Volt. These 2 electric items get buffed by various battery themed items which usually only affect the charge of your active items!

The fact I have played this game for 3 years and knew about it for even longer and didn't know about this is absolutely insane, really shows how many small details there are with Isaac that can go unnoticed

Basically
Old capacitor makes sparks able to hit the same enemy.
Sharp plug and car battery add damage.
9 volt, hairpin, and watch battery increase chain length.
The battery, Jumper cables, and AAA battery increase how many can be hit.

Can’t believe I just now learned this, this is sweet. Interactions like these seem like really cool ways to add more depth to items, especially “bad” ones. There’s already a few like this, like Cursed Eye and Black Candle have a synergy (Black Candle removes the “curse” from Cursed Eye, stopping its teleporting penalty). Imagine if Isaac’s Heart had some kind of synergy with blood/guts related items, like Varicose Veins making it spray more blood tears or something.

I had noticed the electric tears going farther in "wet" rooms, but I never noticed any of the interactions with the battery items and trinkets! Very cool.

I noticed this the other day when found car battery and jumping cables while I had Jacob’s ladder (Obviously EID told me). The insane amount of small details this game has is unfathomable.
