I don’t know about you but we think there’s enough to be gloomy about these days. The staff over here at CHY is pretty dedicated to laughing and messing around with yarn. Making mistakes , designing new patterns in the process of making mistakes… Making crazy weaving projects or needle felting just because we got a notion too. Pretty much the one thing that ties all of our crazy fiber projects together is we really like supporting what we call “ Cottage Industry”. In our minds this can range anywhere from a small farm selling its wool to a larger family owned yarn company. Not that we have anything against the main line stuff that is found in big craft stores there’s a time and a project for everything but thanks to our underground more punk rock roots we just really dig the less “mainstream” options.

Thank you I was wondering as a beginner can you do a demo on how to use a spinning wheel ? If you could on the Louiet wheel you showed as your first, I have no idea how to use a wheel and most people just start from the fiber but never how to use a spinning wheel

Hi Erin, thank you for the video. It's is nice to see the comparison. I see even a third wheel in the background there I am curious about but my main question is when you said that you can get a tube orifice for the polywog? I am wondering if that would make it possible to fit it with a quill to spin with, if you have an idea?

I was wondering about your opinion on that hook. I saw in your other videos and thought hmm does any yarn get caught up on it. You know i have that Louet but the Pollywog is so cool looking. It seems so smooth and easy to spin on. My husband's gonna love my next question 😉
