This video saved my cat! He was lost with an Apple Air Tag on him but my daughter, whose phone it is paired with, is abroad. I have a Samsung. After two weeks of searching with outdated screen shots of his location, I used this info to confirm his location and make his tag 'ping'. Got him back just before a huge snowstorm hit. In addition to adding other trackers, I wish they had the option to mark trackers as known. I use android for my phone but still use Apple for a lot of other things, so I have a couple of airtags and it drives me crazy that I constantly get notifications about an unknown tracker that is actually mine.

i mean its good but what about if u track your car and dont want it found. car thieves would use this for their advantage? therefor making the use of one pointless

This only issue I see with this is the reversal where thieves can track the airtag that you put in your stolen item.

Why does no one make a simulator for Android which fools airtags into thinking they are talking to apple so you can pair them?

@Shane Craig A guy I never saw before was stalking me two days ago while I went to get food. Yesterday I used this and it detected an airtag after several scans. I tried to play sound, but it said could not connect to device. I drove to a more secluded area to scan again. Another app detected two apple devices. But I could not locate and the app you show is also did not show an airtag. Question is can they disable the airtag remotely as in turn it off as soon as they track you so that you cannot detect it? And then turn it back on as they please?

I tried looking for it on my car, but there are too many crevices. I wasn't able to find anything or locate sound....please help. I haven't gone home yet. At relatives.

i was gonna put air tag on my motorcycle. i guess air tag is useless now if anybody can steal your items then make it beep, find it and just remove the battery. thieves will immediately use this app

Weird, I have an activated Airtag right next to me and my Android doesn't detect it.

Shane, Is it possible to set my Motorola 5G UW Android 13 up to find and track a Galaxy SmartTag2? I recently bought a 4 pack of Galaxy SmartTag2, not realizing they would (may) not work with my Android 13 system. I'd like to be able to keep them if at all possible. Thank you much, Alan

My Android appears to have detected an Apple Air Tag. I continued to "play sound" but never heard anything. I was hoping to hear the the sound sounds like. What is the sound like? How do we get alerted when something is detected?

Not just those air tags but any bluetooth tracker type thing. Got it on my Pixel 7

My android phone is picking up an AirTag signal but i cant hear or find anything ... could it be a "wayward" signal? It keeps showing up at the exact same time. And no i dont have any AirTags
