The techno/rock music they used in earlier episodes just makes me laugh, but has some sort of charm to it as well

They evolved their graphics so well that they made me forget I was watching a TV show instead of a live action film

Just wanted to add, Anakin and Obi-Wan's hair actually does change with their costumes in mid season 3.

Anakin's hair is a bit longer, and the part in Obi-Wan's hair shift from on the left side of his head to over his left eyebrow.

I hope we see Grievous' redesign. They could show him capturing Palpatine to lead into RotS. It would be good for Grievous to finally get a win in this series, they nerfed him into the ground from 2d clone wars.

Clone wars episode where I would say the animation was at its “Worst” was the episode _Downfall of a droid, _ I don’t know why but it feels like they cut costs on that episode so the next one _Duel of the Droids_ would look better in comparison.

Not that season 1’s animation was terrible, it just lacked certain elements that Later seasons thankfully improved upon. Season 1 is still great, just not as Spectacular as the seasons after it. And their are noticeable evolutions in the quality of the animation as well, and Season 7 may be the highest quality we have seen thus far just from the trailers alone, and I’m looking forward to the end product.

Anakin's hair does change a little bit with the costume change, it gets a little bit longer I think at some point. Sort of like a midway point between the Clone Wars movie hairstyle and the mullet that we all know and love that he's going to have in season 7

Let's be honest, that explosion scene is the best scene in the whole series.

It's fascinating how you never notice the improvement of the animation as you progress through each season but then you look back and see how much has changed

When I see that scene from Downfall of a droid I always just assumed that was the shows way of indicating Anakin was delirious from his injuries, and adjusting after returning to consciousness.
Though I have always agreed the animation got much better as the series went on.

I particularly liked the way Season 3 looked after they changed outfits, and one of the first times I remember truly admiring how far they had come was the Mortis Arc opening when I recognize they actually had most of the Jedi Council seats filled instead of having the room half empty as they had it up to then. By the deception arc of season four it actually felt like a living breathing universe again to me. The lighting and animations were superb, they had enough background characters to fill in all the shots, and everything felt like it could have come right out of the film universe.

It wasn't mentioned but in the season when Darth Maul was reintroduced, they had to do an overhaul to their animation in order to capture better facial expressions for Maul because it was a heavy part of his character. As well as to enhance the smoothness of body movements for combat.
