SHOCKING iPhone 14 Pro Max Problems!

After owning this iPhone 14 pro max for the first week, I am a bit disappointed in the "upgrade" this year as some things actually feel like a step backwards compared to the iPhone 13 pro max.

Knowing that the iphone 14 pro max has double the brightness of 13 pro max and have the same battery life, when i set my 14 pro to 50% brightness i got double the battery life😊

I feel like some of the battery drain is from the new iOS 16. Because I updated my 13 pro max to the newest iOS and it gets really warm, the battery seems to go down a lot faster, and been having some whacky issues with a few other things. Hopefully it’s just an update issue that can be resolved.

Hi just watched you video and I’m having the same problems with the dark mode not changing and having to do it manually and in safari and my screen keeps glitching when changing Home Screen it’s gone black and you can only see the bottom half of the screen at a weird angle, really thinking of sending it back, oh and keyboard went blank I’m not impressed

it's not a downgrade you need to give it time. The new ios needs to settle, its in the learning mode right now. It will settle. Every new update is the same problem and ppl dont understnd and complain, hot, battery drain - it all settle after a few weeks.

The 13pro max is the best of the last iteration of iPhones…this newest iteration will take maybe 1 to 2 more generations to get to where it should be. Overall even with these problems it’s still the fastest processor in a phone and the battery life is truly all day. I have 13pro max amazing phone.

The brightness of my 14 Pro is better outside than my 13 Pro was. That's the only thing I can dispute.

Wait for ios 16.1 update to solve some of ur issues. For that lower brightness that u mentioned, you need t o disable Auto brightness from the setting app.

Just bought a 13 pro max new as I thought it was so close to the same. Amazed at battery life, but I'm coming from an 8 plus. Finally gave up on the idea Apple would have a finger print reader in a larger phone

I recently upgraded to a 14 Pro Max from a XS Max and while it was a big upgrade in every aspect, I’ve been underwhelmed with the battery life just like you. If Apple is going to advertise the same exact if not slightly better battery life than the 13 Pro Max, don’t blame us customers for having high expectations. If its a software issue, they should just simply extend the return or exchange period till when the software is highly optimized!

If I have a problem, I just phone Apple Support and work it out until it's worked out on the phone. That's why I like AppleCare, I pick up the phone at any time and report anything that I find frustrating, such at the always on going out, picking up a charged phone that's dark, dark phone in sunlight, battery life not panning out. Then if you can't sort things out, get a replacement.

About the brightness thing, for me it's working fine, i'm charging it while driving in the car and the sun hitting the iPhone all the time it, never dimmed that much like you showed in the video, i recommend to replace it from Apple

If you’re having issues with your 14 pm why bother buying a new one when the 15 pm is coming out next year!
I still have the 13 pro max and I have no issues with it!
I’m just gonna keep it for at least another year until the next year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max! As far as the battery life goes, it is a huge step back from my 13 pro max and I mean A HUGE STEP BACK FROM MY 13 PRO MAX

Sorry you’re going through that. It could be an iOS 16 issue. I’m in the process of getting an iPhone 14 pro, but currently have a XS. As soon as I updated to iOS 16 on my XS it was giving me issues. iOS 16 was so glitchy they had to patch it with an iOS 16.0.2 update. So far so good although I’m worried about the data transfer from physical SIM to eSIM. I hope you get it resolved.
