Tips for a good answer sheet:
1. Question Sequence 3:48
Follow the questions in a dedicated sequence. In any order you can attempt them except randomly. Do not attempt questions in a random order, the ones you know you can answer them in the following pattern but the ones you are confused in, try answering them separately in the very last with a dedicated space and heading. Clearly specify which section that question is from, and then proceed to answer.
2. Slow Attempt Speed + Cuts in answers 5:04
If your writing speed is slow, then put in efforts and practice to increase it. Mostly, students with a decent speed also sometimes face this problem, and it is mainly due to lack of clarity of the approach of answer especially in generally long answers (4-6 markers). To avoid such problems utilize your rough space by making broad headers quickly summarizing what you have to explain. Then use this format in the original space for the answer. Reduce cuts in the answers and use time efficiently by pre-planning.
3. Cannot retain answers (Answer yaad nhi aata?) 7:16
This is a major problem so, try your best to not fall for this one. If you cannot recall the answer(s), then first try to acknowledge which chapter is the question from, then try to go through the related topics or the topic covering this answer. If you do this, you will either remember the answer or at least some information related to it. Avoid writing such answers in points and rather write a paragraph. Chances are the teacher would most likely give you half or partial marks which is better than not attempting the question at all.
4. Underline Keywords 8:38
In your answers try to underline the important terms/keywords. Since, these terms play a crucial role in providing value to your answer, having them is a must. Furthermore, you should underline these, as in the first view if the keywords are visible, the impression of your answer seems to be correct and the teacher will acknowledge it, and your answer would get full marks if else everything is correct, or in the other case you at least get half the marks, if not more than it. Make sure to do this in the very last after you have attempted the paper completely, as it can be a little time consuming and may take away your revision time or even lower your attempt pace.
5. Paper Presentation 10:03
Do NOT use short forms for anything at all. If you do indeed use them then write its full form in a bracket or mention it somewhere in your answer where it is clearly noted, otherwise even if you have answered correctly, it may cost you your marks.
If you make a mistake while writing your answer, do not scribble on it with a pen and make it look like a ink blot. It makes your sheet look messy and ugly, use pencils instead to make a slight cut on the mistake. If you are completely discarding a answer, make sure to use pencil and make clear lines cutting the answer in a horizontal manner (avoid it if you can).
While attempting Mathematical word problems, simplification of equations, any physics numerical, make sure to write all the formulas used for that numerical in a separate box or mark it with a arrow wherever you used it in your answer. Moreover, the final answer should be in a box compulsorily and a finishing statement along with it if it is required. Do NOT forget the units if they are asked, and if not specified (Ex. Distance can be measured in cm, m, km, etc) but the question has not provided you with any, just write "unit(s)".
Difference should always be in a tabular form, and along with that all the pointers should be spaced with at least a single line. This you should also follow with all your other answers.
