Another Steam Next Fest is upon us with countless demos to check out and enjoy. If you're not sure where to start, here's a selection of great games that are well worth your time. I'll be highlighting the various games that I've already had a chance to spend some time with ahead of Next Fest in this video, and depending on what else is out there during the week, I might make a follow-up video covering more games that might otherwise have slipped under your radar.

Im never bored of next fest, no matter how similar games seem, if you have an itch for a certain type of game and its over, you always want more of it, after completing dredge I’m still looking for that one game that scratches the same itch.

Out of all of these, Synergy is the one I care about. It looks so freaking cool

i tried the demo of a game called Oddsparks. A mix of factorio and pikmin, that one was pretty good as well. crazy high quality.

The artstyle of Synergy reminds me of comics from my childhood. Pretty good selection, might try out all 5.

Heh I have ALL these in my wishlist, but I played Breachway demo today, and I didnt love it as older non card scifi roguelites that is obviously inspired from.My most anticipated is Synergy.And I just realized the demo is live ;)

Breachway question: Is there a meta progression, something to build/gather between runs that increases the chance and options for future runs?

You should play COLONY DEFENSE... a minimalist TD game which is fun.

Dune Spice Wars is a good 4x multiplayer game

Also good game is CarLife Simulator, is realistic car simulator, like City Car Driving and Assetto Corsa

I tried the Millenia demo as I love 4x games, but it look and felt like a mobile game.

Tried Stormgate but really bounced off it. Felt very dated, though I appreciate that's the appeal for some people
