It is easy to criticize this man for the chemical weapons he helped develop but his contribution to the death toll in WWI was a drop in the bucket. The men who started the war, the men who forced other men to go over the top to almost certain death, the leaders and generals who at anytime could have put a stop to the senseless insane war, and I could go on and on. Why is Haber singled out when the men who developed more and more deadly/accurate artillery stacked WAAAYYY more bodies leaving psychological scars on millions are overlooked. Haber did what many of you faced with the situation that was going on in Germany at the time. Fight two front war, being starved by naval blockade, and if you look at previous great European wars things did not always go well for losers so you fight to win at all cost.
